Here is a collection of some of the photos I have taken over the years. My first camera was a little Pentax Optio that I got in college which got me interested in photography. I then moved onto a Canon 40D with the Kit lens and am now shooting with a Canon 5D Mark II. Most of the photos in the following galleries were taken with one of the DSLRs using one of an assortment of lenses that I have owned/rented. Currently, I have a Canon 50mm f/1.4 and a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS II. I am clearly lacking a mid-range zoom which is on my short list to buy!
The photos in the high speed gallery were taken with a Nikon D100 using a sound triggered precision strobe setup in the Edgerton Center at MIT. The setup is able to freeze a .22 caliber bullet which is clearly visible in the photos. The bubble pop photo is a screen grab from a 1000fps high speed video camera.
